Simone Marzani, Lais Schunk, Gregory Soyez

TL;DR
This paper provides a detailed theoretical calculation of the jet mass distribution after Soft Drop grooming, combining resummation, fixed-order results, and non-perturbative corrections.
Contribution
It offers the first-principle computation of the groomed jet mass distribution with resummation and fixed-order matching, including non-perturbative effects.
Findings
Resummation up to next-to-logarithmic accuracy
Matching with next-to-leading order fixed results
Inclusion of non-perturbative corrections from simulations
Abstract
We present a first-principle computation of the mass distribution of jets which have undergone the grooming procedure known as Soft Drop. This calculation includes the resummation of the large logarithms of the jet mass over its transverse momentum, up to next-to-logarithmic accuracy, matched to exact fixed-order results at next-to-leading order. We also include non-perturbative corrections obtained from Monte-Carlo simulations and discuss analytic expressions for hadronisation and Underlying Event effects.
