P. Becker, D. Davesne, J. Meyer, J. Navarro, A. Pastore

TL;DR
This paper introduces an advanced N2LO extension of the Skyrme pseudo-potential, focusing on improved calculations of nuclear matter properties and pairing gaps in semi-magic nuclei.
Contribution
The paper develops the N2LO Skyrme pseudo-potential, enhancing the modeling of nuclear properties beyond previous versions.
Findings
Analysis of isovector splitting mass in nuclear matter
Calculation of pairing gaps in semi-magic nuclei
Demonstration of improved predictive capabilities
Abstract
We present recent developments obtained in the so-called N2LO extension of the usual Skyrme pseudo-potential. In particular, we discuss the isovector splitting mass in infinite nuclear matter and the pairing gaps of selected semi-magic even-even nuclei.
