TL;DR
This study demonstrates the use of laboratory X-ray reflectometry to analyze the structure of DMPS phospholipid monolayers on water in different phase states.
Contribution
It introduces a laboratory X-ray method for studying phospholipid monolayers at water surfaces, expanding research capabilities beyond synchrotron facilities.
Findings
X-ray reflectometry can effectively characterize monolayer structures.
Different phase states of DMPS monolayers can be distinguished.
The method provides detailed structural information.
Abstract
The possibility of laboratory X-ray reflectometry study of the structure of dimyristoyl phosphatidylserine (DMPS) phospholipid monolayers on the water surface in various phase states has been demonstrated.
