Higher-order corrections for $tZ$ production via anomalous couplings
Nikolaos Kidonakis

TL;DR
This paper calculates higher-order soft-gluon corrections for $tZ$ production via anomalous couplings at the LHC, providing more accurate cross sections and distributions, and demonstrating the significance of these corrections.
Contribution
It introduces approximate NNLO calculations for $tZ$ production with anomalous couplings using soft-gluon resummation at NLL accuracy, enhancing precision in theoretical predictions.
Findings
Soft-gluon corrections are dominant and sizable for $tZ$ production.
Approximate NNLO cross sections improve prediction accuracy.
Distributions of top-quark transverse momentum and rapidity are provided at aNNLO.
Abstract
I present higher-order corrections from soft-gluon emission for the associated production of a top quark with a boson via anomalous -- couplings at LHC energies. Approximate next-to-next-to-leading order (aNNLO) double-differential cross sections are derived from soft-gluon resummation at next-to-leading-logarithm accuracy. The total production cross sections and the top-quark transverse-momentum and rapidity distributions are calculated at aNNLO for various LHC energies. It is shown that the soft-gluon corrections are dominant and large for this process.
