Xiang-Kun Dong, Liang-Liang Wang, Chang-Zheng Yuan

TL;DR
This paper presents precise measurements of the Born cross sections for $D^0$, $D^+$, and $D_s^+$ meson production in $e^+e^-$ annihilation at energies between 3.97 and 4.26 GeV, using CLEO-c data with corrections for initial state radiation and vacuum polarization.
Contribution
It provides the first detailed set of Born cross sections for these open charm mesons at multiple energies, improving the accuracy of previous measurements.
Findings
Measured Born cross sections at 13 energy points.
Applied corrections for initial state radiation and vacuum polarization.
Estimated both statistical and systematic uncertainties.
Abstract
The exclusive Born cross sections of the production of , and mesons in annihilation at 13 energy points between 3.970 and 4.260 GeV are obtained by applying corrections for initial state radiation and vacuum polarization to the observed cross sections measured by CLEO-c experiment. Both the statistical and the systematic uncertainties for the obtained Born cross sections are properly estimated.
