TL;DR
This paper introduces a new Si(Li) detector-based beta-spectrometer designed for precise measurement of $^{144}$Pr beta spectra, aiding in the study of electron antineutrinos for sterile neutrino research.
Contribution
The paper presents the design and specifications of a novel beta-spectrometer optimized for $^{144}$Pr beta-spectrum measurements.
Findings
Successful development of a Si(Li) detector-based spectrometer.
Potential application in sterile neutrino searches.
Enhanced precision in beta-spectrum measurements.
Abstract
Here we present the specifications of the newly developed beta-spectrometer based on thick full absorption Si(Li) detector. The spectrometer can be used for precision measurements of various beta-spectra, namely for the beta-spectrum shape study of Pr, which is considered to be the most promising anti-neutrino source for sterile neutrino searches.
