Haowei Shi, Mutong Xie, Xinlu Gao, Shanguo Huang

TL;DR
This paper introduces a novel figurative projection method in Hilbert Space to describe and measure superposed Orbital Angular Momentum (OAM) modes in Free Space Optical (FSO) systems, providing a new way to analyze such states.
Contribution
It presents a new figurative projection framework in Hilbert Space for superposed OAM modes, enhancing the analysis and measurement of FSO systems.
Findings
Projection scheme effectively describes superposed OAM states
Simulation results validate the measurement approach
Introduces a new scale for FSO system qualification
Abstract
We demonstrate that a complete projection in Hilbert Space figuratively describes a superposed state, introducing a new scale to qualify an FSO system. Measurement simulation of superposed OAM beam through this projection scheme is given.
