Meson spectral function and screening masses in magnetized quark gluon plasma
Purnendu Chakraborty

TL;DR
This paper investigates how a background magnetic field affects the spectral functions and screening masses in the high-temperature quark-gluon plasma, providing insights into QCD behavior under magnetic influences.
Contribution
It presents the first calculation of spectral functions and screening masses in QCD with a magnetic field at high temperature, highlighting magnetic effects on quark-gluon plasma properties.
Findings
Magnetic field modifies the spectral function in pseudoscalar and scalar channels.
Screening masses depend on the strength of the magnetic field.
Results offer new understanding of QCD in magnetic environments.
Abstract
We calculate the spectral function in pseudoscalar (scalar) channel in the high temperature phase of QCD in presence of a background magnetic field. Spatial and temporal screening masses are determined from the long distance behavior of the corresponding correlation functions.
