TL;DR
This paper calculates the one-loop contributions to the tau lepton's weak dipole moments from extended scalar sectors, exploring their potential sizes in various models and scenarios, including CP violation effects.
Contribution
It provides analytic expressions and numerical estimates for tau weak dipole moments in models with extended scalar sectors, including new contributions from specific scalar-gauge interactions.
Findings
Real part of AWMDM can reach 10^{-10}-10^{-9} for 200 GeV scalars.
WEDM can be as large as 10^{-24} ecm in CP-violating scenarios.
Dipole moments decrease with increasing scalar mass.
Abstract
We consider renormalizable couplings of neutral , singly , and doubly charged scalar bosons to leptons and the gauge boson and calculate the one-loop contributions to the anomalous weak magnetic dipole moment (AWMDM) and the weak electric dipole moment (WEDM) of a charged lepton in a model independent way. The analytic expressions are presented in terms of both parametric integrals and Passarino-Veltman scalar functions. Among the new contributions, there are those arising from the vertices of the type and (), along with contributions from doubly charged scalar bosons. Both and are evaluated in several scenarios , first in a model independent way and then within some popular models, such as two-Higgs doublet models (THDMs), multiple-Higgs doublet models and Higgs…
