GenEx - Exclusive Meson Generator
Maciej Trzebinski

TL;DR
GenEx is a new Monte Carlo generator designed to simulate exclusive meson production processes at high-energy colliders like RHIC and LHC, including resonant and non-resonant states with future enhancements planned.
Contribution
The paper introduces GenEx, a novel Monte Carlo generator for simulating exclusive meson production, with plans to incorporate spin effects and absorption corrections.
Findings
GenEx can simulate pion and kaon production processes.
It models both resonant and non-resonant meson production.
Future updates will include polarization and re-scattering effects.
Abstract
Exclusive light meson production processes possible to be measured at RHIC and LHC accelerators are briefly described. This includes Pomeron and photon induced continuum of pions and kaons as well as and resonant production. Next, GenEx, a new Monte Carlo generator recently developed in Cracow, is presented. Its purpose is to generate resonant and non-resonant pion and kaon production and diffractive Bremsstrahlung. Its future development will take into account spin (polarization) effects and simulate corrections due to absorption and re-scattering.
