Y.M.P. Gomes, J. A. Helayel-Neto

TL;DR
This paper introduces a novel five-dimensional Chern-Simons AdS supergravity model that omits gravitino fields, preserves residual supersymmetry, and is compatible with Randall-Sundrum dimensional reduction, leading to new 4D solutions.
Contribution
It presents a new 5D supergravity formulation without gravitino fields that maintains residual supersymmetry and aligns with Randall-Sundrum reduction techniques.
Findings
Residual local supersymmetry is preserved in the model.
The dimensional reduction is compatible with supersymmetry.
New classes of 4D solutions are identified.
Abstract
Based on recent discussions on the so-called unconventional supersymmetry, we propose a 5D Chern-Simons AdS--SUGRA formulation without gravitino fields and show that a residual local SUSY is preserved. We explore the properties of CS theories to find a solution to the field equations in a 5D manifold. With a Randall-Sundrum-type ansatz, we show that this particular dimensional reduction is compatible with SUSY, and some classes of 4D solutions are then analyzed.
