TL;DR
This paper reports on lattice QCD calculations of baryon interactions at near-physical quark masses, providing insights into nuclear forces, $ ext{Xi} ext{Xi}$ interactions, and $N ext{Omega}$ interactions relevant to heavy-ion collisions.
Contribution
The study presents the first lattice QCD results for baryon interactions at physical quark masses using large-volume simulations and the HAL QCD method.
Findings
Determined nucleon-nucleon interactions in $^1S_0$ and $^3S_1$-$^3D_1$ channels.
Extracted $ ext{Xi} ext{Xi}$ interaction potentials.
Provided $N ext{Omega}$ interaction results relevant to heavy-ion experiments.
Abstract
We present the latest lattice QCD results for baryon interactions obtained at nearly physical quark masses. nonperturbatively -improved Wilson quark action with stout smearing and Iwasaki gauge action are employed on the lattice of with GeV, where MeV and MeV. In this report, we study the two-nucleon systems and two- systems in channel and - coupled channel, and extract central and tensor interactions by the HAL QCD method. We also present the results for the interaction in channel which is relevant to the pair-momentum correlation in heavy-ion collision experiments.
