TL;DR
This paper reports on multi-band optical observations of the flickering behavior of the symbiotic star CH Cyg, analyzing its source parameters and exploring reasons for flickering cessation during 2010-2013.
Contribution
It provides the first quasi-simultaneous multi-band optical data of CH Cyg's flickering and investigates the causes of its temporary cessation.
Findings
Flickering source parameters were calculated.
Flickering ceased between 2010-2013.
Possible reasons for flickering cessation are discussed.
Abstract
Here we present quasi-simultaneous observations of the flickering of the symbiotic binary star CH Cyg in U, B and V bands. We calculate the flickering source parameters and discuss the possible reason for the flickering cessation in the period 2010-2013.
