TL;DR
This paper investigates how the masses and decay constants of specific strange mesons change in hot, dense hadronic matter using QCD sum rules and chiral models, with implications for future experiments.
Contribution
It introduces a combined approach using QCD sum rules and chiral SU(3) models to study in-medium properties of $D_s$ and $B_s$ mesons and their excited states.
Findings
Mass and decay constant shifts of $D_s$ and $B_s$ mesons in medium.
In-medium decay widths of excited $D_s^*$ states.
Potential experimental signatures in future collider experiments.
Abstract
We calculate the shift in masses and decay constants of and mesons in hot and dense asymmetric strange hadronic matter using QCD sum rules and chiral SU(3) model. In-medium strange quark condensates , and gluon condensates to be used in the QCD sum rules for pseudoscalar and mesons are calculated using chiral SU(3) model. As an application of our present work, we calculate the in-medium decay widths of the excited (c) states and decaying to (,) mesons. The medium effects in their decay widths are incorporated through the mass modification of the and mesons. Results of the present investigation may be helpful to understand the possible outcomes of…
