TL;DR
This paper investigates how strong external magnetic fields influence the color magnetic and electric screening masses in the QCD plasma, relevant for understanding phenomena in heavy-ion collisions.
Contribution
It provides new insights into the modification of screening masses under external magnetic fields in QCD, a topic not extensively explored before.
Findings
Magnetic fields alter the color screening masses in QCD plasma.
Results suggest significant modifications of screening properties in heavy-ion collision environments.
The study advances understanding of QCD behavior under extreme conditions.
Abstract
We present some recent results obtained in the study of the color magnetic and electric screening masses in the QCD plasma. In particular, we discuss how the masses get modified by strong external fields which are expected to be created in physical situations such as heavy-ion collisions.
