TL;DR
This paper reports the discovery of a new 'overlapping-trough' FeLoBAL quasar at redshift approximately 2.1, identified through SDSS data, with stable absorption features over six years, highlighting its significance in quasar studies.
Contribution
The paper introduces a newly identified 'overlapping-trough' FeLoBAL quasar at z~2.1, expanding the catalog of such rare objects and providing insights into their spectral stability.
Findings
Identification of SDSS J090152.04+624342.6 as a FeLoBAL quasar
No significant variation in broad absorption lines over 6 years
Highlights the stability of absorption features in this quasar
Abstract
We here report an identification of SDSS J090152.04+624342.6 as a new "overlapping-trough" iron low-ionization broad absorption line quasar at redshift of . No strong variation of the broad absorption lines can be revealed through the two spectra taken by the Sloan Digital Sky Survey with a time interval of yr. Further optical and infrared spectroscopic study on this object is suggested.
