Jun-Zhang Wang, Hao Xu, Ju-Jun Xie, Xiang Liu

TL;DR
This paper investigates the production mechanism of the $Y(4220)$ charmonium-like state in proton-antiproton collisions using an effective Lagrangian approach, providing theoretical predictions for upcoming experiments.
Contribution
It offers a novel theoretical analysis of $Y(4220)$ production in $par{p}$ collisions, including the role of nucleon resonances, to guide future experimental studies.
Findings
Nucleon pole dominates the $par{p} o Y(4220)\pi^0$ reaction.
Nucleon resonances contribute significantly to the process.
Results can be tested at the upcoming NDA experiments.
Abstract
The production in the process of is studied within the effective Lagrangian approach. We first study the reaction at center-of-mass energy GeV with the assumption that the is a state. We show that the inclusion of nucleon and nucleon resonance leads to a quite good description of the experimental data of and invariant mass distributions. Then, the total and angular distributions of the reaction are investigated. It is shown that the nucleon pole is dominant but the contributions from excited nucleon resonances are non-negligible. The reaction is useful for studying the property of and our calculated results may be tested at the forthcoming ANDA experiments.
