Flavor-singlet meson decay constants from $N_f=2+1+1$ twisted mass lattice QCD
Konstantin Ottnad, Carsten Urbach

TL;DR
This paper improves lattice QCD calculations of the $ ext{eta}$ and $ ext{eta'}$ meson decay constants and masses, correcting for finite size effects, and provides phenomenologically relevant decay widths and form factors.
Contribution
It presents an improved analysis of lattice data for the $ ext{eta}$--$ ext{eta'}$ system, including corrections for finite size effects and updated physical parameters.
Findings
Masses: $M_ ext{eta}=557(11)$ MeV, $M_{ ext{eta'}}=911(64)$ MeV
Decay constants: $f_l=125(5)$ MeV, $f_s=178(4)$ MeV
Mixing angle: $ heta=38.8(2.2)^ ext{o}$
Abstract
We present an improved analysis of our lattice data for the -- system, including a correction of the relevant correlation functions for residual topological finite size effects and employing consistent chiral and continuum fits. From this analysis we update our physical results for the masses and , as well as the mixing angle in the quark flavor basis in excellent agreement with other results from phenomenology. Similarly, we include an analysis for the decay constant parameters, leading to and . The second error reflects the uncertainty related to the chiral…
