TL;DR
This paper calculates the isospin breaking corrections to the hadronic vacuum polarization using domain wall fermions, comparing stochastic and perturbative methods for including QED effects in lattice QCD.
Contribution
It provides a detailed comparison of stochastic and perturbative approaches to include QED in isospin breaking corrections with domain wall fermions.
Findings
Results from both methods are consistent within errors.
Statistical errors are quantified for each approach.
The methods are validated for future precise calculations.
Abstract
We present results for the QED and strong isospin breaking corrections to the hadronic vacuum polarization using Domain Wall fermions. QED is included in an electro-quenched setup using two different methods, a stochastic and a perturbative approach. Results and statistical errors from both methods are directly compared with each other.
