TL;DR
This paper investigates the potential to discover doubly-charged Higgs bosons in the Georgi-Machacek model at electron-proton colliders, focusing on vector boson fusion production and muon pair decay channels.
Contribution
It provides the first detailed analysis of doubly-charged Higgs boson detection prospects at ep colliders within the Georgi-Machacek model framework.
Findings
Doubly-charged Higgs bosons can be detected at ep colliders under certain conditions.
The analysis identifies optimal channels and collider parameters for discovery.
Potential discovery regions are mapped out based on collider energy and luminosity.
Abstract
The Georgi-Machacek model is one of many beyond Standard Model scenarios with an extended scalar sector which can group under the custodial symmetry. There are 5-plet, 3-plet and singlet Higgs bosons under the classification of such symmetry in addition to the Standard Model Higgs boson. In this paper, we study the prospects for detecting the doubly-charged Higgs boson () through the vector boson fusion production at the electron-proton (ep) colliders. We concentrate on our analysis through -lepton pair production via pair of same-sign W bosons decay. The discovery potentials at the ep colliders are presented.
