Dennis Weiser (for the ALICE collaboration)

TL;DR
This paper reports on the measurement of the nuclear modification factor of J/psi mesons in Pb-Pb collisions at 5.02 TeV, analyzing how it varies with centrality and transverse momentum at mid-rapidity.
Contribution
It provides new experimental data on J/psi production and suppression in heavy-ion collisions at LHC energies, using ALICE detector measurements.
Findings
J/psi suppression varies with collision centrality
Transverse momentum dependence observed in nuclear modification factor
Results contribute to understanding quark-gluon plasma effects
Abstract
We present new results for the nuclear modification factor \RAA of \jpsi mesons as a function of centrality and transverse momentum at mid-rapidity. The measurement is carried out with the ALICE central barrel detectors in the acceptance range < 0.9 and \pt > 0 in the dielectron decay channel.
