$W'$ Pair Production in the Light of CMS Searches
Saeid Paktinat Mehdiabadi, Leila Zamiri

TL;DR
This paper investigates the pair production of hypothetical $W'$ bosons decaying to tau leptons, using CMS data to set mass exclusion limits and explore different coupling scenarios.
Contribution
It introduces a novel analysis of $W'$ pair production with tau decay channels, providing the first such limits based on CMS efficiency data.
Findings
Masses below 290 GeV are excluded at 95% CL for SM-like $W'$ bosons.
The method can constrain models with similar final states.
Various coupling assumptions are tested and reported.
Abstract
For the first time, the pair production of the heavy charged gauge bosons, known as bosons is considered, when both decay to leptons. The reported detailed efficiency of object/event selection by the CMS experiment is used to find the lower limit on the mass of boson. Various assumptions for the coupling of the new gauge boson are examined and the results are reported. In the case of a SM-like boson, masses below 290 GeV are excluded at 95\% confidence level. The method can be used to constrain the new models with the similar final state.
