Spontaneous $CP$ breaking and number of fermionic families
Gauhar Abbas

TL;DR
This paper proposes a theoretical framework where spontaneous CP breaking naturally predicts the existence of a fourth fermionic family, linking it to mirror matter concepts and extending the Standard Model.
Contribution
It introduces a novel spontaneous CP breaking mechanism that necessitates a fourth fermionic family and connects it to mirror matter theories.
Findings
Fourth family fermions are theoretically justified by spontaneous CP breaking.
Third and fourth family fermions are shown to be mirror matter.
The model provides a basis for extending the Standard Model with new fermions.
Abstract
We provide a theoretical justification for the existence of fourth family fermions of the Standard Model by showing that in a novel form of spontaneous breaking, fourth family is inevitable. This requires that fermions of third and fourth families must be mirror matter conjectured long back by Lee and Yang.
