TL;DR
This paper calculates the branching ratios and CP violations of specific Bc meson decays involving rho resonances using the perturbative QCD approach, providing predictions for future experimental tests.
Contribution
It introduces a novel PQCD-based method to analyze quasi-two-body Bc decays with rho resonances, incorporating final-state interactions and extracting form factors from experimental data.
Findings
Branching ratios range from 10^{-9} to 10^{-5}.
Direct CP violations are around 10-40%.
Predictions for Bc to D rho(1450,1700) decays are provided.
Abstract
In this paper, we studied the quasi-two-body decays by employing the perturbative QCD (PQCD) factorization approach. The two-pion distribution amplitudes are applied to include the final-state interactions between the pion pair, while the time-like form factors associated with the -wave resonant states , and are extracted from the experimental data of the annihilation. We found that: (a) the PQCD predictions for the branching ratios of the quasi-two-body decays are in the order of to and the direct violations around in magnitude; (b) the two sets of the large hierarchy and for the ratios of the branching ratios…
