Neelesh Sharma, Rohit Dhir

TL;DR
This paper estimates the W-exchange contributions to the decay processes of doubly charmed baryons, revealing their significance and providing the first nonfactorizable estimates using a pole model approach.
Contribution
It introduces the first estimates of nonfactorizable W-exchange contributions to $\\Xi_{cc}$ decays using a pole model, highlighting their importance.
Findings
W-exchange contributions are sizable in $\\Xi_{cc}$ decays.
Branching ratios for various decay modes are calculated.
W-exchange effects cannot be ignored in decay analyses.
Abstract
Encouraged by recent discovery of baryon, we investigate two body non-leptonic weak decays of doubly charmed, , baryons. We calculate the branching ratios for CKM-favored and suppressed modes in factorization and pole model approach. We give the first estimates of nonfactorizable W-exchange contributions using pole model. We find that W-exchange contributions to decays being sizable can not be ignored.
