Pauli-Lubanski limit and stress-energy tensor for infinite-spin fields
Karl-Henning Rehren

TL;DR
This paper constructs string-localized quantum fields for infinite-spin representations as limits of finite-mass, finite-spin fields, and introduces a novel stress-energy tensor without classical Lagrangian dependence.
Contribution
It provides a new construction of infinite-spin quantum fields and a unique stress-energy tensor formulation independent of classical Lagrangian frameworks.
Findings
Fields are constructed as limits of finite-mass, finite-spin fields.
A new prescription for the stress-energy tensor is introduced.
The approach does not rely on classical Lagrangian formulations.
Abstract
String-localized quantum fields transforming in Wigner's infinite-spin representations were introduced by Mund, Schroer and Yngvason. We construct these fields as limits of fields of finite mass and finite spin . We determine a string-localized infinite-spin quantum stress-energy tensor with a novel prescription that does not refer to a classical Lagrangean.
