TL;DR
OpenNMT is an open-source toolkit designed for neural machine translation, enabling research and development with a focus on modularity, performance, and accessibility.
Contribution
It provides a flexible, open-source platform for NMT research that balances performance with ease of use and modular design.
Findings
Supports diverse model architectures and features
Achieves competitive translation quality
Facilitates research and development in NMT
Abstract
We introduce an open-source toolkit for neural machine translation (NMT) to support research into model architectures, feature representations, and source modalities, while maintaining competitive performance, modularity and reasonable training requirements.
