Minimal models of semi-log-canonical pairs
Florin Ambro, J\'anos Koll\'ar

TL;DR
This paper investigates the relationship between minimal models of log canonical pairs and their boundaries, applying these insights to semi-log-canonical pairs via normalization techniques.
Contribution
It introduces a comparison between minimal models of pairs and their boundaries, advancing the understanding of semi-log-canonical pairs' minimal models.
Findings
Established a comparison between minimal models of pairs and their boundaries.
Applied these results to semi-log-canonical pairs using normalization.
Provided conditions for the existence of minimal models in semi-log-canonical pairs.
Abstract
We compare the minimal model of a log canonical pair with the minimal model of its reduced boundary. These results are then used to study the existence of the minimal model of a semi-log-canonical pair using its normalization.
