C.Q. Geng, Y.K. Hsiao, Chia-Wei Liu, Tien-Hsueh Tsai

TL;DR
This paper analyzes charmed baryon decays using SU(3) flavor symmetry, predicting decay modes and branching ratios, and identifying promising channels for experimental observation at BESIII and LHCb.
Contribution
It provides a systematic SU(3) symmetry analysis of charmed baryon decays, predicting forbidden modes, allowed decays, and branching ratios, including rarely studied and experimentally accessible channels.
Findings
Certain decay modes are forbidden by SU(3) symmetry.
Predicted branching ratios for specific charmed baryon decays.
Identification of promising decay channels for experimental detection.
Abstract
We study the semileptonic and non-leptonic charmed baryon decays with flavor symmetry, where the charmed baryons can be , , , or . With denoted as the baryon octet (decuplet), we find that the decays are forbidden, while the , , and decays are the only existing Cabibbo-allowed modes for , , and , respectively. We predict the rarely studied ${\bf…
