Measurements of soft QCD and double parton scattering at LHCb
Liupan An (on behalf of the LHCb collaboration)

TL;DR
This paper reports measurements of soft QCD processes and double parton scattering at LHCb, including exclusive $J/ar{J}$ production and $J/ar{J}$ pair production, with results aligning with theoretical models and evidence of double parton scattering.
Contribution
It provides new experimental measurements of soft QCD phenomena and double parton scattering at 13 TeV, enhancing understanding of these processes in high energy proton-proton collisions.
Findings
Good agreement with theoretical predictions for exclusive $J/\psi$ and $\psi(2S)$ production.
Evidence of double parton scattering in $J/\psi$ pair production.
Differential cross-sections match theoretical models within uncertainties.
Abstract
Soft QCD and double parton scattering are of great interest in high energy physics. They are both actively studied at the LHCb experiment. The measurement of the central exclusive production of and mesons in collisions at is presented. The result shows good agreement with the theoretical predictions. The measurement of the pair production cross-section in collisions at is reported. The differential cross-sections as functions of various kinematic variables are compared to the theoretical predictions, and show significant evidence of double parton scattering contribution.
