Top-quark pair production at NNLO QCD and NLO EW accuracy
Davide Pagani

TL;DR
This paper provides precise theoretical predictions for top-quark pair production at the LHC, incorporating NNLO QCD and NLO electroweak corrections, and discusses uncertainties and the importance of photon PDFs.
Contribution
It offers the first combined NNLO QCD and NLO EW predictions for $t\bar{t}$ distributions at the LHC, highlighting the significance of photon PDFs and electroweak effects.
Findings
Electroweak corrections significantly affect $t\bar{t}$ distributions.
Uncertainties from scale and PDF are quantified.
Photon PDF plays a crucial role in accurate predictions.
Abstract
We present phenomenological predictions at NNLO QCD and NLO EW accuracy for distributions at the LHC (8 and 13 TeV). We discuss the impact of the electroweak corrections and quantify the theory errors from scale and PDF uncertainties. Moreover, we show the relevance of a precise determination of the photon PDF for distributions.
