Goos-H\"anchen and Imbert-Fedorov Shifts for Airy Beams
Marco Ornigotti

TL;DR
This paper develops an analytical theory for the Goos-H"anchen and Imbert-Fedorov shifts of Airy beams on dielectric surfaces, highlighting the role of the decay parameter in causing large angular shifts compared to Gaussian beams.
Contribution
It provides the first full analytical description of beam shifts for Airy beams, emphasizing the impact of the decay parameter on angular shifts.
Findings
Decay parameter $\alpha$ causes giant angular shifts in Airy beams.
Airy beams exhibit different shift behaviors compared to Gaussian beams.
Analytical formulas enable precise prediction of beam shifts for Airy beams.
Abstract
In this work, I present a full analytical theory for the Goos-H\"anchen and Imbert-Fedorov shifts experienced by an Airy beam impinging on a dielectric surface. In particular, I will show how the decay parameter associated with finite energy Airy beams is responsible for the occurence of giant angular shifts. A comparisons with the case of Gaussian beams is also discussed.
