Paul-Emile Paradan (IMAG), Michele Vergne (IMJ)

TL;DR
This paper investigates the asymptotic distributions linked to piecewise quasi-polynomials, providing foundational results that support further research in equivariant index theory and semi-classical analysis.
Contribution
It introduces new asymptotic distribution results for piecewise quasi-polynomials, advancing mathematical understanding in this area.
Findings
Derived asymptotic distribution formulas for piecewise quasi-polynomials
Established connections to equivariant index theory
Provided tools for semi-classical limit analysis
Abstract
In this paper we study asymptotic distributions associated to piecewise quasi-polynomials. The main result obtained here is used in another paper of the authors "The equivariant index of twisted Dirac operators and semi-classical limits".
