TL;DR
This paper investigates the weak decay processes of $ar{B}_{q}^{ ext{*}}$ mesons into D mesons and light mesons using perturbative QCD, predicting measurable branching ratios for certain decay channels at current colliders.
Contribution
It provides the first perturbative QCD calculations of $ar{B}_{q}^{ ext{*}}$ ${ o}$ $DP$, $DV$ decay rates, highlighting promising channels for experimental observation.
Findings
Branching ratios for $ar{B}_{q}^{ ext{*}}$ ${ o}$ $D_{q}{ ho}^{-}$ can reach $10^{-9}$ or higher.
Color-allowed decay modes are potentially measurable at LHC and SuperKEKB.
Predictions aid future experimental searches for $ar{B}_{q}^{ ext{*}}$ decays.
Abstract
The , weak decays are studied with the perturbative QCD approach, where , and ; and denote the ground pseudoscalar and vector meson nonet. It is found that the branching ratios for the color-allowed decays can reach up to or more, and should be promisingly measurable at the running LHC and forthcoming SuperKEKB experiments in the near future.
