Alexander Mamontov, Dmitriy Prokudin

TL;DR
This paper investigates the mathematical modeling of viscous compressible multi-fluid flows, analyzing how various physical parameters influence the behavior of such complex fluid systems.
Contribution
It provides a detailed analysis of the relations between pressure, densities, viscosities, and other parameters in multi-fluid flow models, advancing understanding of their mathematical structure.
Findings
Derived relations between flow parameters
Enhanced understanding of multi-fluid flow dynamics
Potential framework for future numerical simulations
Abstract
We study the system of equations which describes barotropic (isentropic) flows of viscous compressible multi-fluids (mixtures of fluids). We study the relations between pressure, densities, concentrations, viscosities and other parameters of the flow and of the medium.
