Hadronic resonances with exotic electric charge
G. De Conto, V. Pleitez

TL;DR
This paper classifies long-lived hadronic resonances with exotic electric charges predicted by 3-3-1 models, introducing a new symmetry to organize these exotic states and analyzing their decay properties.
Contribution
It introduces a classification scheme for exotic hadronic resonances with unusual charges and proposes a new heavy $SU(3)_H$ symmetry to organize states involving exotic quarks.
Findings
Exotic resonances with charges up to ±5 are identified.
Some resonances decay only into leptons and known particles.
A new symmetry framework is proposed for exotic hadron classification.
Abstract
We classify the meson and baryon long lived resonances considering quarks with electric charge 5/3 and (in units of ) predicted by some 3-3-1 models. Some of these exotic resonances have the usual electric charges , others have , and the lightest ones decaying only into leptons plus known resonances. We propose another heavy global symmetry under which hadrons involving only exotic quarks can be constructed.
