On the Majorana fermion subject to a linear confinement
R. F. Ribeiro, K. Bakke

TL;DR
This paper analytically solves the Dirac equation for a Majorana fermion under linear confinement in 1+1 dimensions, revealing a discrete but uneven energy spectrum.
Contribution
It provides an exact analytical solution for the confined Majorana fermion, highlighting unique spectral properties not previously detailed.
Findings
Energy spectrum is discrete
Energy levels are not equally spaced
Analytical solutions are obtained
Abstract
We analyse the linear confinement of a Majorana fermion in -dimensions. We show that the Dirac equation can be solved analytically. Besides, we show that the spectrum of energy is discrete, however, the energy levels are not equally spaced.
