TL;DR
This paper analyzes non-leptonic two-body weak decays of the Lambda_c(2286) baryon using SU(3) flavor symmetry, providing precise predictions that mostly align with data but also highlight some discrepancies and accessible decay modes.
Contribution
The study applies SU(3) flavor symmetry to describe Lambda_c decays with higher precision and predicts new decay modes for experimental verification.
Findings
Most data reexamined by BESIII are well described.
Predicted branching ratio for Lambda_c+ to p pi0 exceeds experimental limit.
Several decay modes have predicted branching ratios accessible to experiments.
Abstract
We study the non-leptonic two-body weak decays of with () representing as the baryon (meson) states. Based on the flavor symmetry, we can describe most of the data reexamined by the BESIII Collaboration with higher precisions. However, our result of is larger than the current experimental limit of (90\% C.L.) by BESIII. In addition, we find that , , and , which are accessible to the BESIII experiments.
