Privacy Protection Cache Policy on Hybrid Main Memory
Na-Young Ahn, Donghoon Lee

TL;DR
This paper proposes a privacy protection cache policy for hybrid main memory systems that ensures effective personal data deletion by overwriting with random data, enhancing data privacy and system efficiency.
Contribution
It introduces a novel cache policy that applies data deletion duties using random data overwriting, improving privacy protection in hybrid memory systems.
Findings
More economical than existing methods
Effective in perfect data deletion
Applicable to hybrid main memory systems
Abstract
We firstly suggest privacy protection cache policy applying the duty to delete personal information on a hybrid main memory system. This cache policy includes generating random data and overwriting the random data into the personal information. Proposed cache policy is more economical and effective regarding perfect deletion of data.
