Yessenia Olguin-Trejo, Saul Ramos-Sanchez

TL;DR
This paper calculates the Kähler potential for matter fields in heterotic orbifold models with multiple Kähler moduli, revealing new couplings that could aid in moduli stabilization strategies.
Contribution
It extends the calculation of the Kähler potential to cases with more than three Kähler moduli, highlighting the coupling of matter fields to multiple moduli.
Findings
Matter fields couple to more than one Kähler modulus
New insights into moduli stabilization possibilities
Lowest order Kähler potential derived for complex models
Abstract
Aiming at improving our knowledge of the low-energy limit of heterotic orbifold compactifications, we determine at lowest order the Kahler potential of matter fields in the case where more than three bulk Kahler moduli appear. Interestingly, bulk matter fields couple to more than one Kahler modulus, a subtle difference with models with only three Kahler moduli that may provide a tool to address the question of moduli stabilization in these models.
