Magnetic and quadrupole moments of the $Z_c(3900)$
U. Ozdem, K. Azizi

TL;DR
This paper calculates the magnetic and quadrupole moments of the $Z_c(3900)$ tetraquark using light-cone QCD sum rules, revealing a large magnetic moment and a small nonspherical charge distribution.
Contribution
It provides the first theoretical estimates of the electromagnetic moments of $Z_c(3900)$ in the diquark-antidiquark model using light-cone QCD sum rules.
Findings
The magnetic moment of $Z_c(3900)$ is large and measurable.
The quadrupole moment is small and indicates a nonspherical charge distribution.
Results can guide future experimental investigations.
Abstract
The electromagnetic properties of the tetraquark state are investigated in the diquark-antidiquark picture and its magnetic and quadrupole moments are extracted. To this end, the light-cone QCD sum rule in electromagnetic background field is used. The magnetic and quadrupole moments encode the spatial distributions of the charge and magnetization in the particle. The result obtained for the magnetic moment is quite large and can be measured in future experiments. We obtain a nonzero but small value for the quadrupole moment of indicating a nonspherical charge distribution.
