Investigation of production cross sections, using stacked targets at the 88" Cyclotron with focus on $^{\rm nat}{\rm Fe}(\rm p,x)^{51}{\rm Mn}$
Alexander Springer

TL;DR
This study measured the production cross sections of $^{51}$Mn from natural iron using stacked targets at proton energies of 25 and 55 MeV, providing new experimental data for nuclear reaction modeling.
Contribution
It presents new experimental cross section data for $^{51}$Mn production from natural iron at specific proton energies, using stacked target methodology at the 88-Inch Cyclotron.
Findings
14 new cross section data points obtained
Cross sections measured at 25 and 55 MeV proton energies
Gamma spectroscopy used for analysis
Abstract
With the investigation of the production cross section of off of in mind, two stacked target experiments were conducted at the Berkeley Lab 88-Inch Cyclotron. Proton beams with energies of and result in a total of 14 data points for various reactions. Gamma spectra of the activated foils were taken and analyzed, then cross sections calculated.
