Anton Karpishkov, Maxim Nefedov, and Vladimir Saleev

TL;DR
This paper presents a calculation of $B\bar{B}$ angular correlations in proton-proton collisions at the LHC using a merged parton Reggeization approach with higher-order corrections, achieving good agreement with CMS data at 7 TeV and providing predictions for 13 TeV.
Contribution
It introduces a novel combined approach merging parton Reggeization with NLO corrections for $B\bar{B}$ correlations, validated against experimental data.
Findings
Good agreement with CMS data at 7 TeV for $B\bar{B}$ angular correlations.
Provides predictions for $B\bar{B}$ correlations at 13 TeV.
Demonstrates the effectiveness of the merged approach in high-energy QCD calculations.
Abstract
We calculate the angular distribution spectra between beauty () and anti-beauty () mesons in proton-proton collisions in the leading order approximation of the parton Reggeization approach consistently merged with the next-to-leading order corrections from the emission of additional hard gluon. To describe b-quark hadronization we use the universal scale-depended parton-to-meson fragmentation functions extracted from the world annihilation data. We have obtained good agreement between our predictions and data from the CMS Collaboration at the energy TeV for angular correlations within uncertainties and without free parameters. Predictions for analogous correlation observables at TeV are provided.
