TL;DR
This paper employs QCD sum rules to analyze D-wave heavy baryons of the SU(3) flavor 6_F, predicting their masses and potential experimental signatures for future collider searches.
Contribution
It provides the first QCD sum rule calculations of D-wave charmed and bottom baryons of the 6_F flavor, including mass predictions and experimental suggestions.
Findings
$ ext{Xi}_c(3123)$ can be interpreted as a D-wave $ ext{Xi}_c^ ext{'}(6_F)$ state
Potential partner state near $ ext{Xi}_c(3123)$
Existence of up to four D-wave $ ext{Omega}_c$ states between 3.3 and 3.5 GeV
Abstract
We use the method of QCD sum rules to study the -wave charmed and bottom baryons of the flavor , and calculate their masses up to the order with the heavy quark mass. Our results suggest that the can be well interpreted as a -wave state, and it probably has a partner state close to it. Our results also suggest that there may exist as many as four -wave states in the energy region GeV, and we propose to search for them in the further LHCb and BelleII experiments.
