## TL;DR

This paper investigates the resonant behavior of fractional damped oscillators driven by external forces, demonstrating how tuning fractional damping coefficients or derivative orders can control resonance characteristics.

## Contribution

It introduces a study on fractional damped oscillators, showing how their resonances can be manipulated through fractional damping parameters and derivative orders.

## Key findings

- Resonance can be controlled by fractional damping coefficient.
- Resonance can be tuned by adjusting the fractional derivative order.
- Fractional derivatives influence the oscillator's response characteristics.

## Abstract

The resonances associated with a fractional damped oscillator which is driven by an oscillatory external force are studied. It is shown that such resonances can be manipulated by tuning up either the coefficient of the fractional damping or the order of the corresponding fractional derivatives.
