## TL;DR

This paper investigates the metastable states in bootstrap percolation on Galton-Watson trees, revealing multiple metastable states with different durations depending on offspring distribution near criticality.

## Contribution

It uncovers the existence of multiple metastable states in bootstrap percolation on Galton-Watson trees and characterizes their scaling behavior near criticality.

## Key findings

- Multiple metastable states identified
- Duration scaling varies with offspring distribution
- Behavior depends on criticality proximity

## Abstract

We analyze the metastable states near criticality of the bootstrap percolation on Galton-Watson trees. We find that, depending on the exact choice of the offspring distribution, it is possible to have several distinct metastable states, with varying scaling of their duration while approaching criticality.
