## TL;DR

This paper quantifies how RF-breakdown-induced discharges in a Linear Collider's acceleration structures cause transverse kicks and errors, leading to geometric luminosity loss.

## Contribution

It provides a calculation of luminosity loss due to filamentation from RF-breakdown errors in linear collider acceleration structures.

## Key findings

- RF-breakdown causes significant transverse kicks and errors.
- Luminosity loss can be quantitatively estimated from filamentation effects.
- Results help in designing mitigation strategies for RF-breakdown impacts.

## Abstract

We calculate the geometric luminosity loss caused by filamentation of transverse kicks, upright and skew quadrupolar errors due to discharges, so-called RF-breakdown, in the acceleration structures of a Linear Collider.
