## TL;DR

This paper introduces a method for single-image superresolution by applying graphcut texture synthesis, which uses a low-resolution image as a constraint to generate high-resolution textures.

## Contribution

It proposes a novel approach combining texture synthesis with superresolution using graphcut techniques and low-resolution constraints.

## Key findings

- Effective high-resolution texture generation from low-resolution inputs
- Improved superresolution quality over traditional methods
- Versatile application to various textures

## Abstract

Texture synthesis has proven successful at imitating a wide variety of textures. Adding additional constraints (in the form of a low-resolution version of the texture to be synthesized) makes it possible to use texture synthesis methods for texture superresolution.
