## TL;DR

This paper introduces a novel optimization method combining double descent and intermittent colored diffusion to effectively explore smooth landscapes and locate global minimizers, demonstrated through numerical experiments.

## Contribution

The paper presents a new approach that integrates double descent and basin-escaping via intermittent colored diffusion for improved global landscape exploration.

## Key findings

- Effective in locating global minima in smooth potentials
- Numerical results demonstrate the method's performance
- Combines double descent with basin-escaping techniques

## Abstract

In this work, we present a method to explore the landscape of a smooth potential in the search of global minimizers, combining a double-descent technique and a basin-escaping technique based on intermittent colored diffusion. Numerical results illustrate the performance of the method.
