## TL;DR

This paper constructs a unified class of impulsive gravitational wave solutions in various 3D gravity models, revealing new insights into wave behavior in different cosmological backgrounds.

## Contribution

It introduces a unified method to derive impulsive gravitational wave solutions in general massive 3D gravity across multiple backgrounds.

## Key findings

- Explicit solutions for impulsive waves in de Sitter, anti-de Sitter, and Minkowski spaces.
- Demonstrates the applicability of exterior algebra in deriving gravitational wave solutions.
- Provides a framework for analyzing wave propagation in 3D massive gravity theories.

## Abstract

Impulsive, non-diverging, Petrov-Segre type N gravitational wave solutions to a general massive three-dimensional gravity in the de Sitter, anti-de Sitter and flat Minkowski backgrounds are constructed in a unified manner by using the exterior algebra of differential forms.
